壽寶與父母及姊姊同住，家裡主要靠爸爸去打工和賣一些蔬菜來維持生活。姊姊患有癲癇病，體弱多病。因著弟兄姊妹的代禱，姊姊的病慢慢的在好轉，但還是每天都需要吃藥，加上還要付他的學費，所以家庭經濟常入不敷出。
Shou-bao lives with parents and an elder sister who is sickly. The family depends on income from his father’s work and its land. His elder sister suffers from epilepsy and she is very weak. Because of the prayers from brothers and sisters, her illness is now slowly improving. She still needs to take medicine every day. They have to pay his tuition fee too, so the family has frequent problems making both ends meet.

尊敬的弟兄姐妹:
您們好！時間過的真快，轉眼大學生活已過去兩年，回想當初如果沒有您們的大力資助，我的大學生夢只能是希望的肥皂泡。感謝您們對我們這些貧困學生的關注，以及給予我們的實際幫助，感謝主。
初入大學時，我們懵懵懂懂地打量著這個世界，有一些膽怯，甚至會因為家境貧困而感到自卑，學習曾很不適應，壓力也特別大。在主的愛裡，我們的生活、學習得到了保障，可以安心地追求自己的理想。我們擺脫了內心的陰影，找到了努力的方向，為了理想，我們始終自強不息！教會助學金不僅僅給我們提供了經濟上的幫助，更給予我們一種說不出的勇氣，它讓我們看到了主對於學子的關懷和關愛！
大學是人生的關鍵階段，如果沒有主的愛，如果沒有教會助學金，我的大學生活完全有可能是另外一個樣子。現在我可以自豪地說，我們的大學生活是精彩的，我們沒有虛度光陰，沒有辜負父母、老師對我們的期望。我們將懷著一顆感恩的心，繼續我們的大學生活！古人云：「仁以知恩圖報為德，滴水之恩定以湧泉相報。」我們面對這一年來教會助學金所給予的幫助和鼓勵，我們心中萬般感謝的祝願在這裡只能匯成一句簡短但能表露我們心聲的話，那就是謝謝，感謝主！畢業後的我們一定不會忘記大學的艱辛歲月，不會忘記教會的資助。現在，我們還是在校的學生，沒有更好的辦法甚至不能用自己的實際行動來回報您們對我們的幫助。我想在以後的學習和生活中，我們會全心全意的做一名成績優秀、品行端正的學生，以此作為我們對您們、對學校和對老師的回報。今後，我會像您們關心我們一樣去關心身邊需要幫助的同學，讓他們知道，其實在你遇到困難的時候，背後有很多人和你站在一起。只要在主的懷抱裡，我們沒有做不到的事。
再次感謝一年以來關心、愛護我們成長的弟兄姊妹們，感謝在學習生活上給過我們莫大幫助的同學們，更要感謝教會助學金對我的關愛和資助。在你們愛的手臂下，我不再畏懼風雨，在你們愛的庇護下，我的心靈得到了健康成長。走好未來的路是我們勇氣和自信的見證，我們會用青春的激情和毅力創造更加炫麗燦爛的明天！請您們相信，今天受到過您們幫助的學生，一定不會辜負您們的期望，一定會把這份愛變成將來對祖國、對社會最好的回報！

Respected brothers and sisters,
Greetings to you all! Time flies and two years of my campus life have just gone by in the twinkling of an eye. If not for your financial aid, my university education remains a dream. Thanks to you and my Lord for helping needy students like us.
As poor students we entered the universities with a blurred vision of the world, somewhat nervous and with an inferior complex because of our impoverished background. We have adaptation difficulty and came under great pressure. However, knowing that God loved us, we felt secure in the new environment. Slowly we overcame our inner fear and found our right bearing. With peace of mind, we worked hard in our study to achieve our ambition. The church had not just provided us with financial support. It had given us the courage to meet life’s challenges. We realized how God loved and cared for the needy students.
University education is a major threshold to cross in one’s life. Without God’s love and the help of the church, my educational pursuit would have taken a different route. Today I can say with confidence: My campus life has been exciting and meaningfully spent. I’ve not disappointed my parents and teachers and I will complete my study with a heart of gratitude. To the church for its financial aid and encouragement in the past one year, I could only say at this point of time: Thank you! We know that after passing out of universities, we will never forget the difficult times we had gone through there and how the church came in to help us.
As we endeavor to complete our study, it is only right that we strive to be students excellent in both characters and academic performance. This shall be our way to repay the kindnesses of the church, teachers and the universities. Personally, I will show care and love for my course mates the way you’ve for cared for and loved me. I wish them to know that others are ready to stand alongside them to face life’s challenges. With God’s help, we can do it.
Let me thank you again my brothers and sisters for watching over my growth in the past year. My thanks also go to many course mates who have helped me in study and to the church for financial support. Your loving arms have strengthened us against stormy days and your loving protection enabled us good spiritual health. With courage and confidence we shall continue our journey ahead aiming for brighter tomorrows.
Believe us, as recipients of educational support, we shall strive to live up to your expectations and repay your kindnesses with worthy services to our country and society!
