Pray for hope in the flood

God gives us comfort in times of trouble, so that we can comfort those who are in all kinds of trouble today.

Who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.2 Corinthians 1:4

7th European Revival Conference - Winning the Battle, Inheriting the Land

Christianity once dominated the religious, artistic and economic revival in Europe. However in the past 30 years, Christianity has gradually been lost, and it has been described as the hard soil of the gospel! Many cathedrals have been sold and turned into museums or Muslim temples! Chinese churches are desolate, and believers are busy in life, work or business, fewer and fewer people are believing in the Lord and going to church!

The Paris Revival Christian Church took over its mission more than ten years ago and received the mission that God will visit Europe again, and the revival will come again. In order to undertake the mission, after many years of visits and connections with Chinese churches in various countries in Europe, European Revival Mission was officially registered in 2018, to gather the resources and strength of Chinese churches to support the evangelical work in Europe. This year's European Revival Conference is the seventh, held in Liverpool, England, with churches from more than ten European countries participating in the service. The theme of the conference is " Winning the Battle, Inheriting the Land ", please pray for this conference: The conference hopes that the participants will have the revival of life and undertake the mission of the gospel. You are welcome to join us to light the flame of European revival.

7th European Revival Conference

Workshops on pastoral exchanges between China and Europe: Pastor Chen of Zhendao Church in Belgium shared the gospel situation in Europe in recent years. When Pastor Chen talked about the revival, he couldn’t help his excitement and joy. Because the revival brings prosperity and changes, many young people will turn to God, and the social order will change. It would be getting better and better, corruption is gradually declining, there are no more violent news in the newspapers, and a large number of people will continue to believe in the Lord. What a beautiful sight it will be when the revival comes.

Finally, Pastor Chen summed up the situation of the European churches and the spiritual circumstance, it is dark and pitiful. Chinese and European churches are lonely and need mutual encouragement and support. At the same time, he expressed his expectations for China: China is strong, and many Chinese travels to Europe. If more and more Chinese people can come to Europe with mission awareness, it will bring about spiritual revival.

The organizer of the conference carefully arranged workshops for pastoral exchanges between China and Europe, give time for all countries to discuss and communicate with each other. Through such exchanges and communication, we will discuss the opportunities and challenges of the development of the gospel in China and Europe, so as to better prosper the gospel together.

A Bite to Eat For the Hungry for Pakistan

Dear pastors, churches and friends of RCMI, blessings to you all!

Baluchistan, Pakistan — historic flood

Pakistan recent storms have turned into disaster, a flood of historic proportions. One third of the country has been underwater. Since June, close 1300 people are known to have died, and the figure is expected to go up. More than 33 million people have become disaster victims. Rivers have broken dams and dykes, washing away roads and bridges, and many places have become vast expenses of water where there is not even any dry land around to place equipment on for pumping water away. It is hard to imagine the extent of this crisis! The immediate need is tents and food for those who have lost their homes.

However, because so many roads, railroads, and communication facilities in flooded areas have been destroyed, unaffected areas have not been able to keep contact with disaster-stricken areas, hampering relief efforts. It is expected that disease, poor nutrition, and other problems will follow hard on the heels of the disaster.

A Nexus coworker eyewitness is there going through it with the victims – as the Scripture says, “When one member suffers, all suffer with it …”

Recent storm rains in Baluchistan, Pakistan, turned into a major disaster.

Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Romans12:15

Remember those who are suffering:

The farmers lost their crops in the flood, ask the Lord to provide the food they need.

Many medical equipment in the hospital were damaged by flooding or leaking in the building.

Disease spread from sewage, snake bites in water, foot infections.

The poor lose everything’s they have.

The government could release more disaster relief teams and Christians into the disaster area, and the evangelists and rescue teams bring material and spiritual hope to the disaster area.

The word “Kairos” comes from Greek and means “God’s opportune time,” or “golden opportunity,”

that is, just before sunset or just after sunrise. When the lighting on a subject being photographed is just right, it gives a soft, warm tone to the picture. If the portrait photo of the bride and groom is planned for this moment of golden opportunity, the picture seems magical, right, natural, and perfect. How often do we miss opportunities – as the proverb goes, “The opportunity of a lifetime comes but once!”

“My words will come true at their appointed (“Kairos”) time” Luke 1:20 Please support “A Bite to Eat For the Hungry” Project! Donate a food packet, help a family to “resist” empty stomachs: Let’s stand together and say “No!” to hunger!

The Nexus workers arrived at the disaster area to distribute food packages with the local church.

The Nexus workers arrived at the disaster area on September 3 to distribute food packages with the local church. Supplies included rice, oil, sugar and salt. Pray that the local government will continue to repair the bridges and the destroyed roads between the disaster area to the outside world, so that the relief materials can be smoothly delivered to the victims.

We invite “You” at this vital ‘Kairos moment’ to join us in prayer and giving!
