Provide the Precious Word of God

Revival Christian Church (RCC) in HongKong

Revival Chinese Ministries International (RCMI)

R stand for Resource Center,

Dear Friends in Christ,

Since the founding of Revival Christian Church (RCC) in Hong Kong in 1969 by Pastor Dennis Balcombe, Revival Chinese Ministries International (RCMI, formerly the China ministry arm of RCC) has had one clear vision and purpose: to help the Chinese church to evangelize China, to enable her to fulfill her calling to be “A Blessing to All Nations.”

The cornerstone of RCMI’s policy has always been to deliver the precious Word of God to the Chinese church. The vision of “Bibles for China” has been based on Pastor Dennis’s firm belief that wherever people receive the Word of God, lives, families, and entire societies will change; and the Kingdom of God will come on earth!

In recent decades the tremendous growth of the Chinese church has spurred a demand for Bibles and Christian literature which still is not being adequately met by the combined efforts of the Amity Press (official printer of Bibles and Christian literature in China) and numerous Bible courier ministries that have continued to operate, including our own. Even within the past year we have continued to receive requests for Bibles from many house churches that are unable to purchase or obtain what they need.

Shiloh Bible College in China

Many of these requests for Bibles have come from graduates of Shiloh Bible College, the Bible College run by RCMI in China. After their graduation, many have gone out to different cities and established churches among university students. We would like to share with you a request we received from one of these graduates:

Graduation Ceremony of Shiloh Bible College in China

Dear Pastor Balcombe and RCMI Coworkers, Greetings!

I’m Y.Z., a member of the 14th graduating class of Shiloh, and I’m very grateful to Pastor Balcombe and the teachers and coworkers of RCMI for the help I’ve received! Because of it I have a good theological foundation. Now I’m married, and my wife and I are doing full-time ministry with university students in Tianjin. Our work is blessed; the church is in continual revival and many new souls are coming into the church. We are amazed at the work of God; may He continue His revival work here, continue to expand His Kingdom, save every young person’s soul, and turn this place upside down for Him!

The fellowship group I’m in now mainly ministers to university students and has eleven churches in different provinces. All the pastors of these churches are serving full-time, including some husband-wife teams, and they mainly minister to students, so the offerings they receive aren’t much. But all these coworkers have such a burning love for souls, preaching the gospel every day and praying fervently, so there are always new people coming to church every week. What the churches really want is that they can get some precious Bibles so they can give them right away to the new people who come. They want them to have the Word of God so they can receive salvation. We need Bibles to give to newcomers, but due to the fact that our coworkers are all full-time and most of our members are older students, offerings received in church aren’t enough to buy a large supply of Bibles. We’d like to have 200 Bibles per year to be able to give to those who really need them for the Gospel’s sake—may God bless them; may Jesus become the Light of their lives!

Your Brother Y.Z.

50th anniversary in 2019

In October 2019, Pastor Dennis and RCMI will celebrate the 50th anniversary of our ministry in China and the world! We are thankful that God continues to enable

us to serve from one generation to another, and we are now in the third eneration!

Pastor Dennis’s sending church in Oakland, California—Shiloh Church—has also been supporting and ministering with RCMI continually for the last 50 years, right up to the present.

Since the late 60’s, the most difficult period for the Chinese church, to the opening of China in 1980 and up to this day, RCMI has responded to the cry of the Chinese church for the Word of the Lord. Because the Word of God is a two-edged sword, it has turned many Chinese hearts to our Lord and changed millions of lives. We delight to say that we have many stories to tell! And we welcome you to come celebrate with us the wonder of serving our Lord in 50 years of ministry!

In His Grace,

Dennis Balcombe & RCMI
