A. Pastor Dennis Balcombe update

" For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps." (1Peter 2:21)

December 8, 2016, was the day our dear Pastor Dennis was admitted to the hospital for knee replacement surgery, necessary due to knee cartilage degeneration. This was the first time in his life he had ever been on the operating table for a major operation, so of course he was a bit nervous. God was surely watching over the entire process! Afterwards, he required minimal pain medication, the pain and swelling in his left knee and leg receded steadily, and he was able to leave the hospital after just ten days of basic post-operative treatment. After his discharge, he continued doing appropriate exercise and physiotherapy at home. Even the doctor is very satisfied with his recovery progress. Less than five days after he was out of the hospital he stood to minister on the platform; but this time, as church members were very concerned about his situation, they asked him to preach while seated. Then on January 2, 2017, he returned to his normal work schedule.

B. A New Generation For Worship Revival Shiloh Bible College (HK) - Extension Course Now Accepting Applications for Enrollment

"But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers." (John 4:23)

God is calling each one of us to be His worshiper; and in fact from the beginning right up to the present, God has been seeking those who will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. By His call and leading, we've constantly been striving with everything in us to develop praise and worship ministry, for the purpose of passing on the anointing of the Holy Spirit, equipping worship leaders, and providing a platform for worship ministry. In the past we've held praise and worship training courses and seminars in both Hong Kong and the Mainland, and many brothers and sisters already involved in worship ministry have been equipped. Many of these also have given wonderful and encouraging testimonies of how their lives have been changed.

In accordance with the vision and goals of “A New Generation For Worship Revival”, this year we are conducting the "School of Praise and Worship." We welcome any brother or sister already in ministry to come and, together with us, be equipped and built up in your spiritual life!

The 2017 Shiloh Bible College (HK) - Extension Course is now enrolling new students! (All classes in Chinese)

For enrollment enquiries, please send an email to sbcsch@rcchk.org or Whatsapp (852) 5403 2512

(Please Note: the poster announcement regarding the Extension Course, "School of Praise and Worship," has no English translation because it is being offered in Hong Kong and China only in Chinese language.)

C. Scholarship Needs - Yi student overcomes the spirit of sickness

Zusa (not His real name) is a young man of the Yi ethnic minority, a third-generation Christian. When he first was attacked by this spirit of sickness, his body became thin and weak-looking. It was only later, when he was a bit older, that he learned he had actually had a bout with a very serious disease--lymphoma. His family took him to Kunming City for treatment, and through constant prayers and suitable treatment, his lymphoma was finally healed!

RCMI coworkers met him in 2013, and after talking with him and investigating his situation, we decided to help him pay his high school tuition. He has just graduated this year. Unfortunately, his grades were not high enough to enable him to go on directly to take university entrance exams. But what God does always exceeds our expectations. Shortly afterwards, Zusa was able to enter into a one-year university prep course, after which he could even enter a university. However, he has opted to study computer at a college of finance and economics.

Zusa has had a heart to serve the Lord since he was small. In his village, although most of the people are Christians, there is a serious lack of the knowledge of Biblical truth. In the future, when he has the opportunity, he hopes to attend Bible school and serve the Lord as a preacher of His Word.

Among the young people of China's minority ethnic groups, there are still many like Zusa, whose living conditions and financial situations are seriously lacking. They hope to be able to continue their studies, and after graduating to be equipped for doing the Lord's work!

(RCMI provides sponsorship of education and

theology training for many minority people like Zusa) For more information, please visit our website as below. http://revivalchinese.wixsite.com/ccem
