"To see China reached with the Gospel and help the Chinese Church fulfill her call from heaven– to be a blessing to all nations."
We are here:
Strengthening the Chinese Church and leaders through teaching and training.
Furnishing the Chinese Church with Bibles, Christian books, and teaching materials.
Raising awareness of the vision of the Chinese Church and being a bridge that allows overseas churches to get involved.
HISTORY and PRESENT
Revival Chinese Ministry International (RCMI), previously the China Ministry division of Revival Christian Church, Hong Kong, was set up in 1997 as an independent legal entity for the purpose of serving China in a more effective way. RCMI belongs to the spiritual body of RCC but it is run as an independent ministry, administration- and financial-wise, under the general guidance and supervision of the top leadership in RCC.
In 1961, Pastor Dennis Balcombe, our founder, received his calling to go to China. In 1969 Pastor Dennis Balcombe left the United States and planted Revival Christian Church (RCC) in Hong Kong. Since the first tour group for westerners into China in 1979, RCMI has been working hard to put Bibles and books into the hands of the Chinese people. The call has rung out internationally and answered by the ones that have moved to Hong Kong for short and long terms to carry Bibles. Many of them have now settled permanently in China for mission work. RCMI is now working very closely with mission-minded Chinese churches by frequent visits of encouragement and in leadership training.
With the Lord's guidance and provisions, we also developed various new projects since 2000, in order to better empower, equip and encourage the Chinese church to fulfill their divine calling as harvesting the Chinese souls for Christ.
Some of our previous projects include:
Youth Ministry: "Train the Trainer program"
Care Chinese Ministers Movement (CCMM)
Diaster Fund for natural catastrophies in China, e.g. "Rainbow Project" for flooding, Sichuan and Qing-hai earthquake, etc.
